24 Paris Summer Olympics kicked off in grand style in the early hours of July 27th. The opening ceremony of the Olympics was held in an innovative way for the first time, taking place in an open water space, creating a flowing feast.

In the city of Paris, under the romantic rain, the opening ceremony of the Olympics, full of French romance, ingeniously alternated between the entrance of athletes and performances. This is also the first time in the history of the modern Olympics that the opening ceremony was held in an open city space.

In the process of the athlete's entrance, all delegations boarded 85 different colored boats and sailed down the Seine River from east to west, passing through many scenic spots in Paris, such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Les Invalides, Eiffel Tower, and more. In the interspersed performance segment, people were able to fully experience various elements of French music (opera, musicals, symphony, metal, pop, etc.), film, literature, games, history, etc. - art and modernity intertwined within three minutes, from Les Misérables to Marie Antoinette, from musicals to rock, struggling with freedom and romance, leaving people entranced. Lady Gaga's performance on the stairs, French pianist Kantorow's accompaniment in the rain, the rooftop parkour of the mysterious torchbearer, the interaction between the Minions and the Mona Lisa, and the blue, white, and red fireworks on the bridge all left a deep impression. Apart from the weight of history, a female equestrian carrying the Olympic five-ring flag, riding a mechanical horse and galloping on the Seine River, also showcased the elements of technology.

The torch relay segment was particularly eye-catching. In the opening film, French football legend Zinedine Zidane, dressed in a black suit, passed the Olympic torch through Paris in the form of 007, interspersed with many famous scenes from French movies, such as the "Asterix and Obelix" series, and the classic scenes and music from "The Phantom of the Opera." When Zidane and tennis legend Rafael Nadal embraced on the scene, it fully showcased the atmosphere of sports.

Perhaps most unexpected was the main Olympic torch for the Paris Olympics, which took the shape of a hot air balloon. After being lit by French judo legend, three-time Olympic gold medalist Teddy Riner, and French athletics legend, three-time Olympic gold medalist Marie-José Pérec, it slowly ascended into the sky, creating a stunning finale.

At the end of the opening ceremony, the queen Celine Dion, after overcoming stiff person syndrome and making a comeback, delivered her first official performance, bringing a classic French song that touched the audience. The Paris Olympics will accompany all sports enthusiasts for the next 16 days, creating an unforgettable summer experience.
